The summer is officially over for many young student athletes. The hard work and dedication that has been put in the summer will surely present itself in fall workouts. I encourage the few that have pushed themselves this summer to make sure they send statements based upon action to coaches and teamates that the summer wasn't spent at the lake or on family vay kay. The sweat and fundamentals poured into the late hot afternoons and early am's may go unseen but not unnoticed. Being above the rest is the motivator that motivated me through long summers and is what continues to motivate me as a professional trainer.
